What we installed
The roof was finished in Owens Corning architectural shingles in Sierra Gray, with matching ridge cap along the hips and ridges. Smart Roofing's standard shingle replacement includes a tear-off to the deck, deck inspection, synthetic underlayment, self-adhered membrane in valleys and around penetrations, new flashing, and balanced ventilation. The photos show the finished field, ridge lines, pipe vents and skylight.
Why Sierra Gray works in Camarillo
Sierra Gray is a light neutral. A light roof absorbs less heat than charcoal or black. The color also fits Camarillo's stucco and ranch-style homes and the neutral palettes many local HOAs prefer. If your community has an architectural review board, we prepare the color and product submittal for you.
Built for Santa Ana winds
Camarillo sees Santa Ana wind events. On Camarillo installs we use Owens Corning SureNail technology and pay close attention to starter strips and edge metal, the most common failure points in high wind. More on local work: roofing in Camarillo.
